Fact FileThe assassin bug is known for its violent reputation and its intelligence. They catch their prey by stabbing it violently and releasing a venom that turns its preys insides into liquid. It is dangerous to humans and can cause major organ failure and can prove to be fatal. It also weirs its victims as camouflage which is very smart. Assassin bugs are patient predators that observe and ambush prey and usually its prey has minimal chance of surviving the attack. When they do kill their prey they suck liquid out of it and their mouths are designed to pierce and suck liquid. Prey like cockroaches can die up to 3 seconds after been bitten but something like a caterpillar can survive ten seconds after been bitten. They only grow 0.4 inches and do suck human blood.
