Fact Filecassowaries are flightless birds like ostriches and they grow to 4.9 feet tall to 6 et tall and can weigh 129 lbs. These birds have huge razor sharp talons and they use them as a defence and will angrily kick other animals with them resulting in death rarely but mostly cuts and burses. But they can seriously hurt animals like dogs and have even been known to cut through some smaller children's heads. Cassowaries are very loud and they can be heard from 3 miles away. They are also very fast and can run at 31 mph and can jump very high allowing them to kick so well and they are excellent swimmers. Their eggs are a greenish blue colour.
