blue ringed octopus
Fact FileBlue ringed octopuses grow no bigger than a golf ball, but they are very venomous and can kill a adult human. They have even been considered as one of the most toxic animals on earth. They inject venom by biting and secreting their venomous saliva into the wound and this causes extreme pain. The venom causes the victim body and lungs to become paralysed and it stops you from breathing and your heart shuts down along with your blood and brain. This can all happen in 4 to 6 minuets after being bitten.
