Sumatran tiger
Fact FileSumatran tigers grow up to 8 foot long and can weigh up to 300 lbs. Sumatran tigers live in warm tropical forests and their stripes are closer together than any other tiger, this is because it helps them blend in and camouflage when they are sneaking up on prey. They catch their prey by sneaking up on and grabbing it by surprise or they chase prey into water so it cant run as fast but Sumatran tigers are very good at swimming so they can catch it easily. Sumatran tigers have canines the length of a human thumb and claws that are four inches long and their legs are packed with muscles. Like all tigers the Sumatran tiger is carnivores and its diet includes birds, fish, monkeys and dear.
