fact fileSeals grow from 4 foot to 10 foot and sometimes up to 14 feet long and the can weigh 1,500 lbs at the most. Seals are very smart animals and they are very agile and fast in the ocean. They are also expert hunters and use very clever strategy plans to catch prey. Like most mammals that live in the ocean they can only breath under water for a certain amount of time. Seals have very sharp teeth that can rip apart animal hide and can tear small animals in two. Seals are very violent when it comes to fighting for mating rights and they can damage and scar each others face and even kill and they are one of the most violent animals. They are carnivores and their diet includes fish, squid, water invertebrates, penguins, small aquatic mammals and sometimes small sharks.
