kangaroo
fact fileKangaroos can grow from 4 foot 9 to 6.9 feet at the highest and can weigh up to 201lbs. Kangaroos live in groups called mobs and males will fight over the groups and whoever wins becomes the leader of the mob. Unlike a lot of marsupials kangaroos hop very fast instead of running and their tail is for balance. Their legs are extremely strong and they may only be able to wind each other but they could tear a human in two if the kicked hard enough and they have been known to kill predators like dingo's. They also are good boxers and when fighting they try to aim for the face and throat so they can slit it with their claws. Kangaroos are herbivores which means they don't eat meat. Kangaroos are part of a group of animals called marsupials and all marsupials have pouches. They can jump 6 feet high and 25 feet long in a single leap.
