The army termites can deliver a very painful bite and can fight off predators like ants using their brute strength and determination. The largest termite mound ever found measured to be 42 feet high. The queen termite lays 30,000 eggs every day. Although they may look more closely related to an ant there actually related to cockroaches. The weight of all the termites in the world is heavier than the weight of all the humans in the world. Termites eat 24 hours long every day all week. However termites are known as pests because of their ability to bite through wood and even wallpaper and cause $5 billion property damage.

Locationtermites are mostly found in Africa but can be found in some parts of the middle east and are found in southeast Asia, southern Asia, almost every state in America, certain parts of south America, parts of Australia and southern Europe.
