fact fileBgorillas are the largest primates on earth and grow 5.1 to 6 feet and can weigh 249 to more than 300 lbs. they are also one of the strongest animals on earth and a dominant male can lift up 2 family cars. gorillas are very fast too and can overtake a human in a heart beat. their one of the closest animals related to us and a gorillas average intelligence is the same as a human child. diet includes fruit, berries, shoots and leaves and gorillas have thick fur coat's to protect them when they go to the cold mountains. dominant males are the leaders of the troops and they are viscose and dangerous fighters and to let you know they have a large head an orange brow and a silver back. when they fight they aim to bite in the first part of the body they see and can rip flesh with their huge canines and their other defenses are super strength which gorillas can use to push and grab and drag and even through each other and they are like machines when it comes to rapidly hitting with powerful blows which could kill a human. barking and beating chests is a way of sorting out an argument.
