Fact FileThey can weigh from 17 to 30 lbs and grow to 3 feet long and have a fur coat 50% thicker than a house cat coat. They can reach speeds of 30 mph and hunt mice, large rodents, birds, insects and mammals around the same size or a bit bigger. They are extremely vicious and tough animals that are not afraid to attack anything that thinks it is a meal because it has being know even to kill eagles, foxes and humans rarely. Their paws are perfect for grabbing stuff and they also have large canines which they use to strangle most prey to death. They also have amazing sight and hearing and can track a mouse's movement in snow.
