fact fileorangutans grow to 4.9 feet tall and weigh 99 lbs and have arms that are almost 7 feet long. orang-utans spend most of their life in the trees so they can stay away from large predators down below. once they get used to life in a tree they start to swing around the jungle very fast and learn how to build shelters. orang-utans eat durian, flowers, honey, bark, leaves, fruit and insects. when orang-utans are babies they cling to their mother for a long time until they learn how to climb. since they spend most of their time in tree they become very strong and are usually up to 7 times stronger than a human. dominant male orang-utans have huge throats and more fur and a bigger face and are more aggressive towards intruders.
