scorpion
fact file scorpions can grow from just less than a inch to nearly the same size as a human hand. scorpions are in the same family as spiders arachnids but they catch prey differently from spiders and don't use web. they do have large pincers that can snap an insects body in half and could do the same to a child's finger and the pincers are super strong so when they clamp on to an insect they don't let go. another weapon is their long sharp tail which doesn't just flick and stab but it is filled with venom powerful enough to kill a adult human in just a few seconds. the smaller the scorpion the more venomous they are and bigger ones have a more nasty nip and less lethal toxin but it is still poisonous. scorpions can even glow in the dark.
