Fact FileLangur monkeys grow to 1.4 feet in height to 2.5 feet high and can grow up to 3.5 feet long and can weigh up to 24 lbs to 58 lbs making it one of the largest monkeys on the planet. These monkeys are very violent towards each other and like to kill each others baby's by suffocating them with all their weight and when it comes to fighting they can scalp each other and break each others arms. They have also been known to throw rocks at animals that they feel threatened by and they can scream very loud and can make themselves look very intimidating. Like most monkeys they have very sharp teeth and are incredibly strong but they are particularly aggressive because they have been known to go through towns and rob people and raid homes and even attack and they have the power to kill children and hurt an adult and they also have been known to kidnap dogs when they are puppies. Langurs diet includes seeds, leaves,, shoots, flowers, grass and fruit and they are also known as the leaf eating monkey. They also have great eyesight and hearing and are very agile. They also live in large troops and every troop has a dominant male to lead and protect the group.

LocationThey are found in Burma, India, sir lanka, Bangladesh and are believed to be found in southern china and Nepal.
