Chinese giant salamander
fact file the giant salamander can grow from 4.9 feet long to 6 foot long and can weigh up to 30 lbs making them the largest amphibian on the planet. although they may not look like a hunter they do hunt animals like frogs, crabs, insects, fish and shrimps. since they don't have very good eye site they hunt at night so that their prey has a hard time seeing it. but they still have bad eye site AT night so they use sensors on their head and back which detect minuet changes in the water pressure which helps them to find their prey. believe it or not they do have teeth that are sharp that pierce its prey skin and they can open one side of its mouth and keep the other side shut. it also is a very good swimmer but unfortunately it is a very endangered because people like to eat it and it is heading towards extinction if hunting doesn't stop.
